Priest Returns Home To Find House Sold W/ New “Owners” Renovating It

Priest Returns Home Finds House With “New Onwers” Inside

PRIEST RETURNS HOME – Reverend Mike Hall had the shock of his life after returning home to a “sold” house.

According to reports, the priest was working in Wales and got a phone call from concerned neighbors. Apparently, there were people inside his property already renovating his home.

Because of this, he quickly returned to his hometown of Luton. But, when he got there, all of his belongings were gone. Furthermore, renovations were already underway.

Hall tried to open the door with his keys, however, his keys didn’t work. Instead, a man opened the door with an equally surprised look on his face.

Meanwhile, when he tried to get in the “new owners” told him “get out” and claimed he was trespassing. “I pushed him to one side and got in the property. I really didn’t know what he was doing there”, Hall said.

Based on an article from NZHerald, Hall was completely shocked after seeing his home completely stripped of his furniture, carpet, and curtains.

Unfortunately, when Hall came to the police to report the incident, the authorities told him that they don’t believe that a crime had been made.

“I was shocked – having seen the house in the state it was, I was in a bit of a state of shock anyway – but then to be told by the police they didn’t believe a criminal offense had been committed here was just unbelievable

Sadly, Hall became a victim of identity theft with the scammers gaining $151704 from selling his home. Police told Hall that no fraud had been committed as the Land Registry documentation online already had the “new owner’s” name.

So, police advised him to get a lawyer instead as it was a “civil matter”. Eventually, police launched an investigation but no arrests have yet to be made.
