DAD SHOOTS SON – A 79-year-old man from Blue Ash shot his own son after the latter continuously refuses to stop playing.

Often time, you’d hear stories of parents arguing with their children over loud music. Furthermore, you’d probably hear these stories from teenage kids who are going through a phase. However, the father’s son was already 50-years-old.

According to police reports, Fred Hensley Sr. told his son to stop playing his guitar. But, his son wouldn’t cooperate with him and chose to ignore him completely.

Because of this, Hensley got fed up and took out his gun to try and threaten his son. Apparently, he simply tried to give a warning shot but managed to hit his son in the process.

As per the reports, the incident happened around 5:00 p.m. in Blue Ash. Moreover, the reports cited an “accidental shooting”. After he hit his son, the father immediately called 911. But, a fight between the father and son broke out soon after.

Following the scuffle, Hensley Sr. suffered injuries in his face and mouth area. Meanwhile, his son said that he couldn’t remember anything when he woke up after their altercation.

The son was sent to the hospital to have his gunshot wound treated. Hensley’s accidental shooting led to a gunshot wound to his son’s ribcage area.

Due to the incident, authorities took the father to the Hamilton County Justice Center. There, he was charged with felonious assault with a bond of $60,000.
