Based on the previous report, the veteran actress ran for governor of Camarines Sur in 2001, but she was not successful. Born Nora Cabaltera Villamayor, Aunor, labeled “the country’s Superstar,” began her showbiz career in the 1960s when she joined “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”

“Himala,” “Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos,” and “Bona” are among her award-winning films. Aunor returned to the Philippines in 2011 to make a comeback in local showbiz after spending five years in the United States.

She also had a cosmetic procedure that turned into a nightmare. This after a botched procedure in Japan allegedly ruined her singing voice. Last year, Aunor was one of the celebrities who spoke out against the government’s shutdown of ABS-CBN, her former workplace.

Karla Estrada, an actress, and TV host will also join the public service. Today, Daniel Padilla’s mother filed her COC as a TINGOG party-list nominee. Tingog is a Filipino word that means “voice.” Tingog is a party list in Tacloban and the celebrity mother aims to help people from her hometown.
