The Fairphone 4 was officially announced on September 30, 2021. The 5G-ready device is kept on by a 3906 mAh built-in battery + fast charging 20W. It was launched in Speckled Green, Gray, and Green colors.
Body & Display:
Fairphone 4 measures 162 x 75.5 x 10.5 mm and weighs 225 grams. The materials used in building the device include a glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), a plastic back, and a plastic frame. It comes in a 6.3 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM7225 Snapdragon 750G 5G (8 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 619. It runs on the Android 11 operating system. It is integrated with 6GB and 8GB RAM options while the internal storage has 128 GB and 256 GB options.
Main Camera:
The rear camera of the Fairphone 4 consists of a 48-megapixel (wide) + 48-megapixel (ultrawide) + TOF 3D (depth) with features like dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama.
Selfie Camera:
On the front, the smartphone features 25-megapixel (wide) camera for clicking beautiful selfies and making video calls. It also features HDR.
The phone’s sensors include gyro, accelerometer, compass, proximity, and fingerprint (side-mounted). It also features WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C 3.0, USB OTG, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BDS.
