The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G was officially announced on September 29, 2021. The smartphone was launched in Matte Black and Matte Aqua colors. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + fast charging 15W.

Galaxy F42 5G is built with a glass front, a plastic frame, and a plastic back. It measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 9 mm and weighs 203 grams. It features a 6.6 inches screen size and the display is TFT capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution.
Platform:
The device is powered by Mediatek MT6833 Dimensity 700 5G (7 nm) processor coupled with Mali-G57 MC3 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on the Android 11 + One UI Core 3.1 operating system.
It is integrated with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 1TB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
