According to her, she couldn’t take it anymore because some of her father’s students at a public high school in Cebu City were too irritating and wrong to answer. Alyssa shared the teacher-student group chat screenshots regarding her test instructions, which the students allegedly ignored.

The Facebook post went viral on social media and reached the school’s management, who immediately investigated the case. As a result, they decided to punish the disrespectful students who harassed the teacher.

Meanwhile, the Department of Education (DepEd) 7 said that DepEd was “corrective and not vindictive” in dealing with defective students, as the education officer respects the administration of the Abellana National School (ANS) in the city. of Cebu in his decision to sanction his grade obtained 9 students allegedly involved in cyberbullying with his math teacher.

DepEd 7 also asked students to be more respectful to their teachers and understand the situation, as both they and their teachers are learning at a distance. Understandably, given the challenges students face now, students would like to go back to school for face-to-face classes, but he asked them to be patient. Scolding or cyberbullying cannot solve things effectively.
