Former MUP queens reacted to the performance of Kisses Delavin
The performance of Kisses Delavin in the recently-concluded Miss Universe Philippines 2021 elicited reactions from Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.
Kisses is one of the crowd’s favorite and her fans have been supporting her since the screening for this year’s edition of the national pageant. She was able to make it to the Top 10 finalist. It is her first time joining a national pageant.
Regarding her performance during the coronation night on September 30 that was held in Bohol, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Pia Wurtzbach shared this post on Twitter: “Kisses blossomed into a woman right before our eyes. She nailed that styling! #MUPH2021Coronation,” the third Filipina Miss Universe said.
Kisses Delavin was known to have a sweet image as an actress, based on the previous roles that she portrayed in her acting projects. However, as she pursued her dream to become a beauty queen, many people noticed that she has transformed into someone who is aiming for the crown.
Aside from the German-Filipina beauty, Rabiya Mateo also shared good words about the representative of Masbate. In one of the recent Instagram Stories of the Ilongga beauty queen, she shared a post with Kisses Delavin showing that their white gowns almost looked the same.
Rabiya said, “Remember that you did well tonight. Continue to be kind and I’m looking forward to see you join again. Ate Rab loves you!”
Meanwhile, Kisses Delavin has said in a previous interview that she has been joining beauty pageants since she was a young girl. Before joining the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother, she was crowned as Miss Teen Masbate in 2013 and Miss Kaogma in 2016.
