The Nokia C01 Plus was announced on June 8, 2021, and released on June 28, 2021. The budget phone runs on the Android 11 (Go Edition) operating system.

It is powered by Unisoc SC9863A (28 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is IMG8322. The phone is packed with 1 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It has a standard memory slot (such as an SD or micro-SD card slot) that enables users to extend the built-in internal storage. It can be expanded up to 128GB.
