The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636 (14 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 509. It runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) + MIUI 12 operating system.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is packed with 4 GB and 6 GB RAM options while the internal storage has 64 GB and 128 GB options. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 256 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 measures 176.2 x 87.4 x 8 mm and weighs 221 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.9 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The rear side of the smartphone sports a dual-camera that consists of 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel (depth) with features like panorama, HDR, and dual-LED flash. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera for clicking selfies.
Sensors on the phone include a compass, proximity, accelerometer, gyro, and fingerprint (rear-mounted). Connectivity options on the phone include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Infrared port, FM radio, and USB Type-C.
