Bar in Iloilo Holding a “Rap Battle” Raided, Over 50 Individuals were Arrested
Police raided a bar in Iloilo City over reports that a rap battle was being held inside where over 50 individuals present inside were also arrested.
According to the police station that conducted the operation, 53 individuals were arrested inside the bar in Barangay Mohon, Arevalo, Iloilo City. The offenders were discovered performing “Rap Battles” and breaching a mass gathering.

The violators were issued citation tickets, according to Police Captain Chen Taagras, chief of the Arevalo Police Station, in an exclusive interview. After their identities were documented, the violators were compelled to return home.
The said establishment, which also sells wines to consumers, was also closed, according to the chief. Because their permit was for the selling of motor parts, the barangay officials had no idea what was going on inside the company.
Meanwhile, the local government of Tondo, Manila were alarmed after a crowd of people rush at a famous food strip in the area despite strict health protocols. In the midst of the pandemic, video footage has surfaced of groups of Manileños congregating on the popular food stalls street in Tondo, ignoring social distancing rule.
People wearing face masks but no face protection are shown in the video clip, and physical distancing is clearly not observed properly. No one was penalized, but the violators’ names were listed and they were informed that if it happened again, they would face complaints.
