The Cubot King Kong 7 was officially announced on August 3, 2021 and released on August 23, 2021. The rugged device measures 166.75 x 83.5 x 14 mm and weighs 250 grams.
Cubot King Kong 7 comes in a 6.36 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2300 pixels resolution. It was launched in a single color, Black.
The rugged smartphone is powered by Mediatek MT6771V/C Helio P60 (12 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G72 MP3. It runs on the Android 11 operating system.
Cubot King Kong 7 is packed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 256GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
The rear side of the phone sports a triple-camera that consists of 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (macro) with features like ultra-wide-angle mode, steady handheld, night photography, slow motion video, macro mode, portrait mode, panorama, and HDR. For selfies, the phone comes with a 32-megapixel front camera.
It is powered by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 18W. Sensors on the device include fingerprint (side-mounted), proximity, gyro, and an accelerometer. It also features NFC, GPS, FM radio, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, and MicroUSB Type-C 2.0.
