PRESIDENT DURETE – A group of netizens created a website which archived the most famous quotes of President Duterte since 2016.

Since his stint as President began, Duterte had many famous statements, be it for the better or worse. As such, several rights group have called him out for them.

However, according to the President’s spokespersons, these statements were merely said in jest or in a joking manner. But, throughout the years, Duterte has made a name for himself because of these statements.

Furthermore, supporters of the President seem to have a very positive response to what he is saying. But now, people can easily look back on some of Duterte’s most famous quotes.

In the website, you could see statements such as:

[The] Martial Law of Mr. [Ferdinand] Marcos was very good.

All of the quotes in the website were from the PCOO’s transcriptions so everything was made available publicly. However, some netizens were concerned that the creators of the website might get in trouble. But, the creators said they were simply copying the transcripts and not slandering anyone’s name.
