Obando Mayor Edwin Santos Clarified Birthday Party Gatherings Violating Protocols
OBANDO MAYOR – Mayor Edwin Santos defends himself from the allegation that he violated health protocols during his birthday party.
Mayor Santos expressed his feelings over the allegations that he breached health rules during his recent birthday celebrations in an interview with ABS-CBN News. He maintained it wasn’t a get-together because his birthday was on a different day.
Bukas pa po eh,” he defended in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
His pals, he claims, brought him food and came to greet him for his pre-birthday celebration. He clarified that they did not wear face masks while eating and that sufficient physical separation was enforced.
Siyempre kami po magkakaibigan,” he explained.
The statement is in reference to one of his posts, where he is expected to be seen with up to 20 visitors. He explained that they simply went out to eat and didn’t have a party, therefore they didn’t break any health rules.
Kinain naman po namin, nagsalo- salo po kami…Surprise greetings lang po iyon,” he said, adding that they are fully vaccinated.
