After netizens noticed that Kapuso actor Paolo Contis unfollowed everyone on Instagram, the online community also noticed that his A Faraway Land leading lady Yen Santos also did the same.

The said movie is currently streaming on Netflix. This was shot in Faroe Islands, a picturesque place between Iceland and Norway. The story is about a Filipina who lived on the said island, got married to a Faroese, and had a child with him.

Paolo’s character enters the life of Yen’s character when he went to Faroe Island for a documentary about Filipinos who are living there. Eventually, love blossomed between them. Regarding this, movie, several netizens who commented on the recent promotional posts of Paolo and Yen lauded the two stars for their performance.

However, intrigue surfaced. On August 19, speculations surfaced that the relationship of Paolo with his partner Kapuso actress LJ Reyes is on the rocks because he unfollowed everyone and that included the mother of his daughter Summer.

Paolo also deleted the photos of LJ on his Instagram account. This sparked speculations that they are having a problem or that they have already broken up. Both LJ and Paolo haven’t spoken about this matter yet, as of this writing.

After the “hiwalayan” issue surfaced on social media, netizens also noticed that Yen Santos has “zero” on the “following” section on the photo-sharing social media platform, based on the article in Philippine Entertainment Portal.
