Afghan Teen Playing As National Footballer Among Victims Who Fell To Death
AFGHAN TEEN FELL TO DEATH – A teenager who played as a footballer for Afghanistan’s national team was reported among the victims who fell to his death after clinging to a C17 military aircraft.
Following the occupation of the Taliban in Kabul, hundreds of Afghans rushed to the airport in an attempt to escape the country. However, as the Taliban got closer, they started to slowly occupy the airport.
This caused mass panic and hysteria among those in the vicinity. As such, hundreds rushed to the airport tarmac attempting to hitch a ride in any of the planes still on the ground.

Sadly, many couldn’t even manage to board a plane. In lieu of this, hundreds flocked to a large C17 U.S. Military Aircraft and clung on its side to in a desperate attempt to escape.
Sadly, in a horrific video uploaded on social media, you could see the people who clung to the plane falling from the sky. Among those was confirmed to be “Zaki Anwari”, one of the youth footballers of the Afghanistan national team.
According to an article from CNN, Afghanistan’s General Directorate of Physical Education and Sportssaid Anwari was among “several other compatriots who fell to the ground while flying“.
