Arvin Tan Involved in Car Chase in Quezon City Released after Posting Bail
ARVIN TAN – The suspect who went rampage that causes a hit-and-run and leads to a car chase in Quezon City was released from jail after posting bail.
According to a GMA News report, Arvin Tan was discharged and cleared of charges three weeks ago after posting bail, according to Quezon City Police District Station 10 commander Police Lieutenant Colonel Alex Alberto. Tan’s driver’s license has been suspended, according to Alberto, notwithstanding his release.

Tan was involved in a rampage earlier this year that resulted in a hit-and-run, injuring numerous motorists and causing damage to several automobiles. The haughty suspect, who was subsequently discovered dealing with illegal substances, sparked a police chase from Quezon City to Manila.
According to a previous allegation, Tan tried to flee police officers by speeding away in his car after refusing to pay his bills at a motel in Timog Avenue, Quezon City. Before being apprehended, the culprit collided with a number of vehicles, including two QCPD police cars and a tricycle, wounding the rider.
Tan was charged with breaking Republic Act 10586, also known as the Anti-Drunk Driving Law, causing property damage, resisting arrest, disobedience to a person in authority, and estafa. All of the charges brought against him are bailable.
Tan was also detained in 2017 for recording a video of a witness in the death of hazing victim Horacio Castillo at the Manila Police District. Tan eluded the cops despite being almost dragged away from his car. The authorities discovered his home the next day and captured him from his balcony.
