The Blackview A100 was officially announced on November 3, 2020 and released on November 24, 2020. The smartphone is powered by Mediatek Helio G85 (12 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G52 MC2.
Blackview A100 runs on the Android 10 operating system. It is integrated with 4GB of RAM while the internal storage has 64GB and 128GB options. The device has a standard memory slot (such as an SD or micro-SD card slot) that enables users to extend the built-in internal storage. It can be expanded up to 256GB.
The device measures 166.3 x 77.6 x 8.8 mm and weighs 195 grams. The display has a size of 6.67 inches with IPS technology and the resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Blackview A100 is integrated with a quad-camera on the rear side: 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel and 2-megapixel with features like optical zoom, digital zoom, geotagging, HDR, and panorama. On the front, the mobile features a 16-megapixel camera for clicking beautiful selfies and making video calls.
The phone’s sensors include fingerprint (rear-mounted), compass, accelerometer, proximity, and gyro. It also features USB Type-C 1.0, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, and QZSS.
It is powered by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 18W. The phone was launched in Dream Pink, Forest Green, Galaxy Blue, and Graphite Gray colors.
