The Huawei P40 Lite was announced on February 27, 2020, and released on March 2, 2020. The smartphone measures 159.2 x 76.3 x 8.7 mm and weighs 183 grams. It is built with a glass front, a plastic back, and a plastic frame.
Huawei P40 Lite comes with a screen size of 6.4 inches LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixel. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
The device is powered by Kirin 810 (7 nm) processor coupled with Mali-G52 MP6 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on the Android 10 + EMUI 10 operating system. However, the device doesn’t come with the Play Store or other Google apps like Calendar, Maps, or Gmail.
Huawei P40 Lite is integrated with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage option of the phone can be expanded up to 256GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
The smartphone is integrated with a quad-camera on the rear side: 48-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) and 2-megapixel (depth). For selfies, the phone comes with a 16-megapixel (wide) front camera.
It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4200 mAh battery + fast charging 40W. It was launched in Black, Emerald Green, and Light Pink/Blue colors.
Connectivity option on the phone include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS, NFC, USB OTG, and USB Type-C 2.0. The device’s sensors include proximity, compass, accelerometer, and fingerprint (side-mounted).
