Kisses Delavin received an offer to join Miss World Philippines
Miss Universe Philippines 2021 official candidate Kisses Delavin revealed that she was initially offered to join the Miss World Philippines pageant.
Before joining the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother, Kisses has already joined pageants in her hometown. She won Miss Teen Masbate in 2013 and in 2016, she was crowned Miss Kaogma.
Based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the young actress said that joining pageants has been her passion. âEver since I was a little kid, nag-start ako mag-join ng beauty pageant. When I was three years old nag-bikini na âko. So, it has always been my passion,â Kisses Delavin said.
After the official announcement of Miss Universe Philippines of its Top 100 candidates this year, it was revealed that Kisses was initially offered to join another national pageant.
âYes, I was recruited to join Miss World [Philippines] and I didnât join. And itâs not because I didnât want to join, kung pwede lang magdyo-join na âko, but there are so many factors right now,â she revealed. The coronation of Miss World Philippines is set to happen on July 25 and it will be televised on GMA-7.
Kisses said that she has not done projects amid the pandemic because she was staying in Masbate. She also shared that currently, no one is managing her. âIt would be very unfair to be managed when wala naman akong tinatanggap na work kasi andito po ako sa Masbate,â she explained.
Kisses Delavin, on the other hand, said that when she comes back to doing her showbiz engagements, she will surely be managed.
Previously, she was under Star Magic. Then, in November 2019, she signed a contract with Triple A management and APT Films, which are handling Marian Rivera and Maine Mendoza.
