Man Shot Dead After Refilling Water Near Guerrero Street
MAN REFILLING WATER DEAD – Authorities tagged a 36-year-old man as dead on the spot after being shot in the head near a water station.
Yesterday morning, CCTV footage caught the incident that occurred in Barangay 667. In the footage, you could see a motorcycle stopping near Arquiza Street at around 3:30 p.m.
The riding-in-tandem waited to get an opportunity to finish a hit on the victim that was standing in front of the water-refilling station near a corner in Guerrero Street. The suspects waited till three children who were near the water station went away.
Afterward, they went closer to the victim and shot him in the head from the back. Following this, the shooter fled along with his partner. Based on an article from ABS-CBN, barangay officials said the victim was renting a place near the area and went to the water-refilling station to get his refilled gallons.
Currently, police officers are still investigating the incident along with the homicide division of the Manila Police District. However, the motive of the shooting is still unknown.
