Boobay Got Emotional to the Photo of Her and Ex-Boyfriend in Boracay
Kapuso comedian Boobay got emotional on her guesting on GMA’s morning talk show after seeing an old photo of her with her ex-boyfriend.
Boobay cried when he talked about his ex-boyfriend Kent Resquir. When he viewed the snapshot of the past relationship while being a guest on GMA 7’s morning show “Mars Pa More,” the TV personality couldn’t help but cry.
Kent and he took the photo while on holiday in Boracay with some of their close pals. Only a few weeks ago, Boobay revealed that he and his non-showbiz boyfriend had broken up after a nine-year romance.

He didn’t go into depth about why they abruptly ended their relationship. In one portion of the show, host Camille Prats asked whether they may talk about the photo of them enjoying their vacation in Boracay.
But even before the host of “The Boobay And Tekla Show” could speak, he burst into tears. He wiped his eyes first before answering Camille. “Oo past na! Ang sakit pala na sinasabing ‘Past na ito ‘no?’ Tapos dinidikdik mo pa,” he emotionally said.
“Parang pina-realize mo sa akin na past na nga pala. Kasi parang pangalawang beses pa lang niyang umuuwi from Australia. So February ‘yan, Valentine’s last year (2020) bago pa mag-lockdown o bawal ang lumipad,” he said.
“Sabi ko, maganda ‘yata maging mas memorable ‘yung uwi niya rito para siyempre, I’m sure nabo-bore siya roon sa Australia. Something, alam mo ‘yun, elegant na bakasyon,” he addded.
Boobay’s comedian friend Pepita, who is also a guest on the show, suddenly expresses his side. “Ang usapan ambag-ambagan pero ikaw lahat ang nagbayad, kaya very generous.”
Pepita interjected, “Naisip mo ba na itong tawa na ito ay hindi na pala mauulit?” Boobay just smiled but it could be seen on his face that he was still affected by their break-up with the ex-girlfriend.
