Is it true that Jinkee Pacquiao will enter politics?
Senator Manny Pacquiao’s wife Jinkee Pacquiao is being rumored to have a plan to run for Mayor in Makati City in the 2022 elections.
As the election season is fast approaching, the lawmaker is one of the popular politicians being pitched to run for President. In a previous article, veteran entertainment personality Annabelle Rama, a close friend of the Pacquiao family, shared that she asked Jinkee if she is ready to be the First Lady.
The latter laughed but expressed hope that this will happen in the future. In a recent article by Abante Entertainment Columnist France Simeon, there are rumors circulating that Jinkee Pacquiao is also planning to enter the world of politics.
The columnist mentioned that the wife of Pacman is being speculated to be eyeing the position of Mayor in Makati City. Simeon tried to reach Jinkee through Viber to clarify the rumors but the latter was not able to answer.
Then, the columnist asked the manager of the Pacquiao couple, Arnold Vegafria, regarding the speculations about the political plans of Jinkee.
“She will not run, hahaha,” Vegafria, who is also the franchise owner of the Miss World Philippines franchise, debunked the speculations.
With this, the entertainment columnist said that it is not true that Jinkee Pacquiao will run against Makati Mayor Abby Binay that was previously rumored on social media.
In an interview by Vicki Belo, the wife of the Senator already expressed that she is not interested to run again after she served as Vice Governor of Sarangani Province. With all humility, she admitted that politics is not for her.
