The Xiaomi Redmi 5A is built with a glass front, an aluminum back, and an aluminum frame. The smartphone measures 140.4 x 70.1 x 8.4 mm and weighs 137 grams.
The smartphone was launched in Gold, Dark Gray, Rose Gold, and Blue colors. It comes in a 5.0 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that gives 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 Quad-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 308. It runs on the Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) + MIUI 11 operating system.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A come in variants such as 16GB + 2GB RAM and 32GB + 3GB RAM. It supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
The rear side of the device sports a 13-megapixel camera with features like panorama, HDR, and LED flash. For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 5-megapixel camera.
It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery. The phone’s sensors include an accelerometer and proximity. It also features Bluetooth 4.1, MicroUSB 2.0, FM radio, Infrared port, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.
