2 Pedicab Drivers Get Human Skull Alleged Came from Cemetery to Scare Friends
Locals were stunned to discover a human skull in a dumpsite in Tacloban City after two pedicab drivers allegedly fetch it from the cemetery for a prank.
A white sack containing only a skull was discovered in the rubbish dump in Barangay Tayhi at about 5 p.m. on Monday. A citizen in the region spotted it while dumping rubbish, according to Police Lt. Col. Edgar Azotea, chief of the Tabaco City Police Station.
During the investigation, it was discovered that two pedicab drivers, relatives and barangay residents, tossed the sack. Someone observed them put at the garbage dump after 7 p.m. on July 11, 2021, according to reports.

Two males, purportedly cousins, aged 32 and 35, allegedly stole the skull from a hole in the grave in a Catholic Cemetery in Barangay Tagas, according to police. This is to intimidate the area’s drinkers, who were also pedicab drivers.
“Pumunta kasi itong magpinsan sa sementeryo noong July 11 mga 7 p.m na para hanapin yung puntod ng lola kasi daw anniversary, kaya lang dahil sa gabi na at parehong nakainom din ng mga oras na yun hindi nila nakita yung puntod ng lola,” Azotea said.
“Tapos nung nakakita sila ng butas na nitso, kinuha nila yung bungo at nilagay sa sako para daw takutin yung mga kainuman,” he added.
They were unable to frighten their teammates, however, because when they arrived in Barangay Tayhi, they were unable to see their buddies. The police handed the skull over to the cemetery’s keeper, whose identity could not be established due to the tomb’s age.
