The Cubot J9 was officially announced on October 19, 2020. The smartphone is integrated with a quad-camera on the rear side: 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 0.3-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel with features like panorama, HDR, and geotagging.

On the front, the mobile features a 5-megapixel camera for clicking beautiful selfies and making video calls. It is kept on by a 4200 mAh built-in battery.

The dimension of the smartphone is 156 x 74.5 x 9.4 mm and weighs 185 grams. It is available in three colors: Black, Blue, and Green. J9 comes with a screen size of 6.2 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio.

Cubot J9 is powered by Mediatek MT6580 (28nm) processor coupled with Mali-4000 MP2 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on the Android 10 operating system. It is packed with 2-GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage option of the phone can be expanded up to 64 using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include MicroUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, hotspot, GPS and FM radio. The device’s sensors include an accelerometer and proximity.
