Bayani Agbayani Recalls Hardships Before Becoming a Filipino Celebrity
BAYANI AGBAYANI – The veteran comedian shares his hardships to finish his studies and before he became an iconic celebrity in the industry.
Bayani Agbayani described how he worked as a porter to pay his way through college. In a YouTube interview with actress Aiko Melendez, the comedian talked about the difficulties he faced in her life.
This is after I asked him how he thinks about his song “Otso-Otso” still being one of the most popular. “Otso-Otso” is significant to Bayani since these numerals have become a part of many aspects of his life.
Bayani, like other Catholics who believe in the Virgin Mary, feels that his devotion is the reason for her life success. Bayani is a Marian enthusiast, and his girls were named after Mother Mary, he claimed.

Bayani, on the other hand, couldn’t stop reminiscing about his struggles in life, particularly his journey to finish school on his own. Bayani is claimed to have sold a variety of items merely to graduate elementary school.
He revealed that he used to sell corn and other items before going to school while he was in elementary school. Despite the fact that he is not from Manila, he enrolled in Araullo School for high school.
Bayani was originally from FTI Taguig, but when he registered in high school, his address stated that he was from Pandacan. He registered in Araullo School since the tuition price is merely P88, he said.
Bayani started working as a porter after graduating from college, in addition to selling. He worked at Divisoria as a “kargador,” or porter, while also working as a waiter to finish his education.
