3 Newly Freed Drug Suspects Jailed Again After Caught in Buy-Bust Ops in QC
Authorities arrested three (3) drug suspects during buy-bust operation in Quezon City after they were allegedly newly freed from same case.
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) conducted the buy-bust operation against the three in Lower Sampalucan, Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Q.C. according to Holy Spirit Police Station 14 commander PLT Col Jeffrey Bilaro. At the same time, a police officer posed as a poseur customer and purchased illegal drugs.
After the transaction with the suspects completed, the operatives immediately arrested the three. The suspects were found with 11 small sachets carrying 15 grams of illegal substances known as “shabu” worth P102,000, as well as buy-bust money.

Jade Valano, alias Burdado, 30, construction worker; Raymond Tilimban, 29, construction worker, fellow of Centro Sitio Mabilog, Brgy. Culiat, Q.C. ; and Richard Tiongco, 32, living in Lower Sampalucan, Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Q.C., according to QCPD Director PBRIG General Antonio Yarra.
Based on the report, the three had previously been charged with illicit drug possession but were able to avoid jail time after negotiating a plea deal in court. The suspects have been arrested and charged with breaking the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 (RA 9165).
Meanwhile, a man who was apprehended during curfew hours discovered possessing an illegal plant drug called “Maryjane” in Valenzuela City. According to the report, the drug suspect was noticed by the authorities strolling around the area at 1:30 a.m.
The police officers asked for the violator’s identification card. When the ID was overturned, the police discovered a glass pipe containing an illicit plant known as “Maryjane” inside the suspect’s sling bag, prompting his arrest.
