Recently, the AirCar successfully flew from Nitra to Bratislava’s airport. Afterward, the hybrid cruised the roads as the wings reclined much like a bird closed its wings. Here is the video:

According to an article from Unilad, the AirCar runs on a Petrol BMW engine. However, it was never designed like other flying car concepts that often use eVTOL-based engines. To begin its flight, the AirCar needs a runaway and about two minutes and 15 seconds to transform from a car into a plane.

Meanwhile, the test flight took around 35 minutes as the AirCar was cruising in the clouds at the speed of 170kmph. Moreover, the car was said to be capable of flying 8,200ft above ground. Additionally, it can travel around 1,000km.

A prototype Aircar created by Prof Stefan Klein has completed a 35-minute flight between Nitra and Bratislava airports, Slovakia. It has BMW engine and runs on regular petrol. It flies 1,000km at 8,200ft, It takes two minutes and 15 seconds to transform from car into aircraft.
