Duterte Waiting On Pacquiao List Says Roque
DUTERTE WAITING ON PACQUIAO – Recently, Senator Manny Pacquiao accepted President Rodrigo Duterte’s challenge of naming corrupt agencies in the government.
For starters, Pacquiao claimed that inquiries should begin with the Health Secretary Francisco Duque III and the Department of Health. However, Duque emphasized that there was never any controversy involved in his office.
Meanwhile, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque stated that he is hoping the fighting senator could submit his list of corrupt agencies before he leaves the country to fight against champion Errol Spence.
During a press briefing, the Spokesperson said:
Hinihintay po ni Presidente yung listahan ng mga corrupt na ahensya ni Senator Pacquiao..
Bagamat sinabi niya na isa doon sa mga ahensyang ‘yun ang DOH, talaga naman pong naimbestigahan fully ng Senado. So wala pong bago doon sa sinabi niyang departamento na DOH
Additionally, Roque stressed that Pacquiao should pass his list of corrupt agencies before his fight as the president does not tolerate corruption. “Malaman lang niya kung saan merong sunog at papatayin niya ‘yung sunog na ‘yun“, he continued.
