The TCL 20S was announced on April 14, 2021, and released May 20, 2021. The dimension of the smartphone is 166.2 x 76.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs 199 grams.

TCL 20S comes in a 6.67 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that gives 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It is available in two colors: Milky Way Gray and North Star Blue.

The phone by the Qualcomm SM6125 Snapdragon 665 Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 610. It runs on the Android 11 + TCL UI operating system.

TCL 20S is packed with 4GB and 6GB RAM options while the internal storage has 128GB and 256GB options. It is powered by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable).

The rear side of the device sports a quad-camera that consists of 64-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth). For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 16-megapixel (wide) camera.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, NFC, USB OTG, USB Type-C 2.0. The phone’s sensors include a compass, proximity, accelerometer, and fingerprint (side-mounted).
