Why did Herbert Bautista say that he is ‘torpe”?
Actor-politician Herbert Bautista said that he is still “torpe” until now when he was asked about this thing.
When it comes to the love life of Herbert, also known as Bistek in the Philippine entertainment industry, the most controversial name linked to him romantically was Queen of all Media Kris Aquino.
For several times, Kris has talked about the closeness that she has with the former Quezon City Mayor. In a recent interview by Inquirer entertainment columnist Dolly Ann Carvajal, Herbert Bautista was asked about the craziest thing he has ever done for love.
His answer to this was, “Not much. Believe it or not, till now, “torpe” pa rin ako,” and then he laughed. He said that he is actually an introvert. Bistek said that he has been exposed to public life since he was 10 years old. It is because he started his career in show business at an early age.
With this, having his alone time or his time for himself is very important for him. He was also asked about the love life of his sister Harlene Bautista.
The latter is now in a relationship with Federico Moreno after she and Romnick Sarmenta got separated. “I respect her decision. I don’t meddle in her life. I let her and Federico be as mature adults,” Herbert said.
Meanwhile, Herbert Bautista is enjoying his time doing his showbiz engagements. When asked if he is planning to run in the 2022 elections, he said that he has no concrete plan as of now.
“I will wait for the party (Nationalist People’s Coalition) to decide. They know what’s best. I have no concrete plans yet about politics for 2022. But I will finalize it before filing of CoC (certificate of candidacy) come October,” he said.
