Prisoner Viral After Uploading Cooking Show Straight From Cell
PRISONER HAS COOKING SHOW – As it turns out, some prisoners not only have access to phones, but also to social media platforms such as TikTok.
As such, Jeron Combs grabbed the opportunity to get some traction online while behind bars. Known as @mrinnocent72x0 on TikTok, Combs uses the platform to show his viral cooking videos from his jail cell.
Obviously, the prison wouldn’t provide materials such as a pan and a stove. So, Combs had to be innovative and use the tools available to him. This included a broken hotplate and his metal bed.
According to combs, he needed to cook because his dishes were astronomically better than what the prison feeds its inmates. Furthermore, he said that they get food packages from the canteen so they can order packaged food inside.
Based on an article from the Daily Mail, Combs said:
I broke a hot pot down and took the plate out of it and sanded my bunk down to the metal to cook from it.
Since he was 18 years old, Combs has been locked due to first degree murder and attempted murder charges. Because of this, he was facing a 70-year sentence. Currently, Combs is 31 years old.
At this age, he says that he could cook anything from tacos, burgers, stir fry rice, and burritos. “I make food for my cellmate and some friends at times for special occasions. I have a passion for cooking“, he said.
