The Honor 50 SE was announced on June 16, 2021. The smartphone runs on the Android 11 + Magic UI 4.2 operating system. It is the first smartphone of the company with Google apps and services after splitting from Huawei.
Honor 50 SE powered by Mediatek MT6877 Dimensity 900 5G (6 nm) processor coupled with Mali-G78 graphics processing unit (GPU). It is packed with 8GB of RAM while the internal storage has 128GB and 256GB options.
The 5G-ready smartphone measures 164.7 x 75.6 x 8 mm and weighs 191 grams. It comes in a 6.78 inches screen size and the display is LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2388 pixels resolution.
The rear camera of the Honor 50 SE consists of a 108-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) while on the front, there is a single 16-megapixel (wide) camera.
Sensors on the smartphone include gyro, compass, accelerometer, proximity, and fingerprint (side-mounted). Connectivity options on the phone include USB On-The-Go (OTG), USB Type-C 2.0, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, and Bluetooth 5.1.
The phone is powered by a 4000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 66W. It is available in three colors: Silver, Blue, and Black.
