Food Delivery Driver Steals Food After Taking “Proof Of Delivery” Caught On CCTV
FOOD DELIVERY THIEF – A food delivery driver was caught stealing a customer’s food after taking “proof” that she already delivered it.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, people are more inclined to order in instead of going out. As such, food delivery services such as DoorDash in the U.S. has become ever so popular.
However, one of their employees seemed like she had a good enough scheme going on with her deliveries. TikToker @atlas_070 shared a clip of CCTV footage showing a woman walking up the door, placing the food on the ground, and taking a picture that it was delivered.
So far, this was protocol. However, right after she took the photo, the woman grabs the bag of food and head straight to her bike without looking back. Luckily, the customer reached out to DoorDash and the company swiftly responded.
Since the incident, DoorDash said they already fired the employee who did the act and they gave the customer a free meal as an apology. But, the customer said that DoorDash got his order wrong.
