Indian Farmers Protect World’s Most Expensive Mango
MOST EXPENSIVE MANGO – Two Farmers from India accidentally grew the world’s most expensive mangoes.
Following the discovery, Sankalp Singh Parihar accidentally got the holy grail of mangoes. But, how exactly did he get the most expensive mangoes in the world?
According to an article from LadBible, Parihar got on a train to Chennai and was asked by a random passenger if he wanted “special mango” saplings worth Rs 2,500 ($33). Feeling lucky, he gambled and accepted the deal.

But, after a few months, the farmer noticed something unique about the fruits he planted. As per the article, he said: “I did not know what the mango breed was but I named it Damini after my mother and planted it”
Furthermore, he said that when people saw his mangoes, he was offered a huge amount of money for one of them. “It was only when they offered me more than Rs 21,000 ($283) for it that I realised it was something valuable“.

In reality, Parihar bought one of the rarest mangoes in the world called “Miyazaki Mango”. Based on reports, the fruit originated from the Miyazaki prefecture on the Kyushu island, Japan.
However, growing such an expensive fruit has its dangers. Parihar said that thieves broke into his farm and stole a dozen of the mangoes. Due to this, he ramped up his protection profile and hired guards and dogs.
