The Honor 50 5G was officially announced on June 16, 2021. The 5G-ready smartphone runs on the Android 11 + Magic UI 4.2 operating system. It is launched worldwide with Google apps and services.
Honor 50 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 642L. The phone is integrated with 8GB of RAM while the internal storage has 128GB and 256GB options.
The dimension of the device is 160 x 73.8 x 7.7 mm and weighs 175 grams. It comes in a 6.57 inches screen size and the display is OLED capacitive touchscreen that gives 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
Honor 50 5G is integrated with a quad-camera on the rear side: 108-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) and 2-megapixel (depth). For selfies, the smartphone comes with a 32-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4300 mAh battery + fast charging 66W. It is available in four colors: Frost Crystal, Amber Red, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black.
Connectivity options on the phone include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, NFC, USB OTG, and USB Type-C 2.0. The device’s sensors include a compass, proximity, gyro, accelerometer, and fingerprint (under display, optical).
