Gunrunner Alleged Suspect of Illegal Sale of Firearms Online Arrested in Pasay
Authorities arrested an alleged gunrunner who was accused of the illegal sale of firearms on social media during a buy-bust operation in Pasay.

The suspect was allegedly involved in the illicit selling of firearms online as well as gunrunning in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and other nearby provinces, according to the Northern Police District (NPD). The New York Police Department’s Special Operations Unit learned about the sale through a Facebook chat forum for gun enthusiasts and used it to meet with the suspect.
Five firearms, including a submachine gun and 9mm,.40 caliber, and.45 caliber guns, were confiscated during the entrapment operation at a petrol station in Pasay. The police then called the suspect’s wife in Imus City, Cavite, and persuaded her to surrender the remaining guns at their home.
Shotguns, carbines, assault rifles, sniper rifles, and revolvers were among the ten guns surrendered. Ammunition, magazines, and a bulletproof vest were among the items found.
Chris will be charged with breaking the National Firearms Act and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. Other gunrunning group members and sources, including the suspect, are being identified.
