The Sharp Aquos S2 is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass), a glass back, and an aluminum frame. The smartphone measures 141.8 x 72 x 7.9 mm and weighs 140 grams.
Sharp Aquos S2 comes with a screen size of 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels, a 17:9 aspect ratio. It was launched in Black, White, Green, and Blue.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SDM630 Snapdragon 630 (14 nm) – 64/4GB or Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 (14 nm) – 128/6GB Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 508 – 64/4GB or Adreno 512 – 128/6GB.
Sharp Aquos S2 runs on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system. The smartphone is packed with 4GB and 6GB RAM options while the internal storage has 64GB and 128GB options.
The device sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel sensor. For selfies, the phone comes with an 8-megapixel front camera
It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 3020 mAh battery + charging 10W. The phone’s sensors include a compass, proximity, accelerometer, gyro, and fingerprint (front-mounted).
Aquos S2 also features WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB On-The-Go (OTG), USB Type-C, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, and Bluetooth 4.2. The phone supports Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
