The Honor 9S was announced on April 29, 2020, and released on May 4, 2020. The smartphone runs on the Android 10 + Magic UI 3.1 operating system. However, the device doesn’t come with the Play Store or other Google apps like Calendar, Maps, or Gmail.
Honor 9S is powered by Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 (12 nm) processor coupled with PowerVR GE8320 graphics processing unit (GPU). It is packed with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The dimension of the budget phone is 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.4 mm and weighs 144 grams. It comes in a 5.45 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 720 x 1440 pixels resolution.
The rear side of the Honor 9s sports an 8-megapixel camera with features like LED flash, panorama, and HDR. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel camera for clicking selfies and self-shooting videos.
Sensors in the smartphone include proximity and an accelerometer. Connectivity options on the phone include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, FM radio, and MicroUSB 2.0.
9S is powered by a 3020 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable). It is available in three colors: Red, Black, and Blue.
