The BLU G8 is powered by the Spreadtrum UniSoC SC9863A processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is PowerVR GE8322. The smartphone runs on the Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system.
BLU G8 is packed with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 128GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
The smartphone comes with a screen size of 6.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio. It measures 161.4 x 78 x 9.6 mm and weighs 181 grams. It is built with a glass front and a plastic body.
The rear side of the BLU G8 sports a dual-camera that consists of 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel with features like digital zoom, geotagging, panorama, HDR, and touch focus. For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 13-megapixel camera.
G8 is kept on by a 4000 mAh built-in battery. It is available in three colors: Black, Red, and Blue.
Sensors on the smartphone include proximity, accelerometer, and fingerprint (rear-mounted). It also features MicroUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, and FM radio.
