Police Arrested an Alleged Commander of “Gun-for-hire” Group in Batangas
Police authorities arrested the suspected commander of the gun-for-hire group which is said active killing gang in Batangas.
A 43-year-old suspected commander of a Batangas gun-for-hire group is already in the custody of the Batangas Provincial Police Office. He was detained on a search warrant 2021-20 at Barangay Ticub in Laurel, Batangas, for violating Republic Act 10591.

The Provincial Intelligence Unit-Batangas PPO, the OPD-Drug Enforcement Unit, the Regional Special Operations Unit, Regional Intelligence Division 4A, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Team-Batangas, and the Laurel Municipal Police Station all work together to serve the community.
The leader of the gun for hire group was apprehended, according to a Batangas Police report. The gang is said to be active in Batangas’ 3rd district.
The Philippine National Police has not said whether the suspect has been charged with violating Republic Acts 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and 9165 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
However, according to police records, it has a history of 5 murder cases, a homicide case on April 19, 2017, and a case under the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, which occurred on January 20, 2016. All of this occurred in Laurel, Batangas. He was also found with a number of guns of various calibers, as well as illegal substances and drug paraphernalia.
