Epidemiologist Virtual Background During GMA Interview Earned Reactions

The online community express hilarious reactions towards an epidemiologist who was interviewed by GMA due to his familiar virtual background.

Earlier, the GMA’s 24 Oras reported about the 7-year-old girl who died after being stung by a box jellyfish. After being caught by a jellyfish on the beach in Del Gallego, Camarines Sur, a 7-year-old girl was killed and two others were injured.

The victim was reportedly in shallow water when she screamed due to a jellyfish adhering to her calf and foot, which is thought to be a variety of box jellyfish. People worked together to free the victim from the attached jellyfish.

However, the victim passed out and did not make it to the hospital alive. Her uncle and cousin were also stung by the jellyfish but managed to escape.

Meanwhile, an epidemiologist was interviewed about the occurrence. Dr. Eric Tayag described the symptoms of being stung by a box jellyfish, which was the cause of the young girl’s death.

During his interview, though, the Internet community saw several familiar sights. The epidemiologist’s virtual background, which is supposedly from an adult industry event, is mocked by the internet community.

The virtual background featured on the epidemiologist’s interview, according to netizens, was taken from the “casting couch,” an adult show available on private websites. The background is said to be a typical location for the adult content of the show.
