NBI Operatives Arrested a Pseudo Dentist in Agusan del Sur

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) operatives arrested ‘pseudo’ dentist in Agusan del Sur for allegedly operating without documents.

In San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, the National Bureau of Investigation arrested a “pseudo dentist.” Analiza M. Constancio was named as the suspect by NBI Officer-in-Charge Director Eric B. Distor.

The phony dentist was apprehended by the Agusan del Sur District Office on May 11 during an entrapment activity (NBI-ADSDO). The operation was said to be based on information from the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) that the suspect was reportedly practicing dentistry in an unlawful manner.

“When subject Constancio failed to present any documents and valid professional identification card as professional dentist, NBI-ADSDO immediately placed her under arrest for the act of performing illegal practice of dentistry,” he said.

Meanwhile, authorities arrested a man who was found pretending to be a police after he attempted to evade the checkpoint in Cabangan, Zambales. After attempting to flee the checkpoint, the Cabangan Municipal Police Station arrested a 43-year-old suspect who identified himself as a police officer.

The suspect’s car was flagged down at the checkpoint during the initial investigation. But, rather than slowing down, he accelerates to avoid the checkpoint.

As a result, the police launched a dragnet operation and were able to apprehend the vehicle in question. The driver of the car, who was still wearing an olive green t-shirt with “POLICE” written on it and black denim pants when apprehended, identified himself as “Lt. Col. Dela Cruz” which found not in the list of Philippine National Police (PNP) Alpha list.
