Pokwang Offers Miss Myanmar Her House as She Can’t Go Back to Her Country
Actress-comedienne Pokwang offers her home for Miss Myanmar after escaping her country due to arrest warrant and death threats.
Pokwang, a comedienne, offered Miss Myanmar Thuzar Wint Lwin a place to stay at their home after she revealed that she had just fled her country to compete in Miss Universe on Twitter. Miss Myanmar can be seen holding a piece of placard with the words “Pray for Myanmar” during the National Costume.
According to the internet, he already has an arrest warrant out for her when she returns home. Her sister is said to be hiding for the time being due to death threats she received as a result of Miss Myanmar’s actions.

She was added to a list of celebrities who have criticized Myanmar’s government, which is now under military rule. On the said pageant, she is accused of speaking ill of her country.
As a result, Marietta Subong, also known as Pokwang, has confirmed that she is most welcome in her home. She invited the beauty queen to her home and even offered her roasted chicken and laing.
โHalika muna sa aking bahay, papakainin kita ng roasted chicken at laing ni Mamang,” she wrote in her post.
Her Twitter post drew a mixed response. Some of her followers are praising the comedian and others voicing their willingness to assist the National Costume nominee.
