The Asus Zenfone 8 Flip was officially announced on May 12, 2021. The 5G-ready smartphone measures 165 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm and weighs 230 grams. It has the Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
The materials used in building the phone include a glass front (Gorilla Glass 6), a glass back (Gorilla Glass 3), and an aluminum frame. Zenfone 8 Flip comes with a screen size of 6.67 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio.
Asus Zenfone 8 Flip is powered by the Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G (5 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 660. The device runs on the Android 11 + ZenUI 8 operating system.
Asus Zenfone 8 Flip is integrated with 8GB of RAM while the internal storage has 128GB and 256GB options. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + fast charging 30W + USB Power Delivery 3.0.
The rear side of the smartphone sports a triple camera that consists of 64-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (telephoto) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide). On the front, there’s a Motorized flip-up main camera module.
Connectivity options on the Zenfone 8 Flip include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, QZSS, NDS, NavIC, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0. the phone’s sensors include a compass, proximity, gyro, accelerometer, and fingerprint (under display, optical).
