Chinese Spacecraft Lands On Mars “Conquering New Milestone”
CHINESE SPACECRAFT – Seemingly out of nowhere, a Chinese spacecraft lands on Mars just weeks after the United States did.
According to state media, China has become the second country to land a vessel on the Red Planet. Based on reports, the landing comes after China’s launch of its new core module for its orbiting space station in December.
With this new development. China could very well push a new era of space competition between nations such as Russia and the United States. Meanwhile, according to the “Global Times”, a news outlet controlled by the Communist Party, the mission “spectacularly conquered a new major milestone“.
Still, for the rest of the world, the landing was a massive surprise. Since the beginning, China had said little about its plan for a landing. However, news from social media and in official reports signaled that it was inevitable.
