Anthony Johnson Arrested and Charged with Identity Theft After Debut Win
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Anthony “Rumble” Johnson was arrested and charged with identity theft after his debut win.
Anthony Johnson, a well-known UFC fighter, has been arrested in New Canaan, Connecticut, for identity theft. The New Canaan Police Department arrested Johnson at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn., where he won against Jose Augusto.

Johnson’s arrest was caused, according to the authorities, by his fraudulent use of a credit card to purchase airline tickets in November 2019. According to New Canaan police, a victim claims that their credit card was used without their permission by a third party.
The credit card was used to buy a round-trip airline ticket from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (FLL) to Newark, New Jersey (EWR) (EWR). According to the MMA battle post, the passenger’s name was Anthony Johnson.
As a result, Johnson was issued an arrest warrant for the charges mentioned above. After the suspected fraudulent use of a credit card, Johnson was charged with identity fraud and cited for spending less than $500 on a suspended payment card.
The UFC fighter was released a few hours after his arrest after paying a $ 500 bail, and his case is being scheduled for a trial. The 37-year-old heavyweight fighter has a 23-6 record throughout his career.
