Man Admits Being Drunk After Caught Taking a Selfie at MRT-3 Tracks
The arrested man along with his comrade who were caught going down the tracks of MRT-3 and took a selfie admits being drunk.
The guy captured on camera exiting the Manila Metro Railway Transit 3 (MRT-3) train tracks to take a photo apologized and confessed to drinking alcohol. The train’s management arrested and convicted the perpetrator and his partner.
At the Quezon Avenue Station of the MRT-3, a man can be seen jumping on the platform to the railroad while no train is moving. Jerald Oliva, who goes down and posts at the railroad, and Rey Llasos, who was holding the camera, were named as the suspects.
According to the two, they were unaware that their railroad operation was illegal. When they did the selfie challenge, the two revealed that they had been drinking.
The men’s actions were risky, according to MRT-3 management, since many sections of the railway had electricity that could destroy them. It’s likely that if there’s an accident, the rail system will be affected as well.
According to The Department of Transportation-Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 3 (DOTR-MRT-3) post on their official Facebook page, they will be charged with alarms and scandals by the train management.
