Benguet Bishop Earned Injuries After Jeepney Passenger Stab Him

A jeepney passenger runs amok inside a public vehicle and allegedly stab a bishop who was also a passenger in La Trinidad, Benguet.

When a bishop was stabbed by a male passenger in the jeep in which the victim was sitting, he suffered injuries to his body. In La Trinidad, Benguet, a video showed the stabbing of a man who went on a rampage while targeting Bishop Julian Mangida.

The pastor was stabbed inside the jeep they were riding in by the perpetrator, according to the investigation. The attacker stabbed the victim and pulled him out of the jeep, according to the initial police report.

Due to stab wounds in different parts of his body, Mangida was still bleeding. When Mangida had the opportunity, he managed to knock the perpetrator out on the ground, where he was assisted in obtaining the knife by others. Following this, the frail Mangida walked away to go to the hospital on his own.

He thought it was fortunate that someone came to the pastor’s rescue and grabbed the suspect’s knife. With 16 burns, the survivor was rushed to the hospital. It’s claimed to be in good shape.

The suspect said that his eyesight had darkened as a result of his wife’s departure. He had no idea his victim was a priest, according to reports. According to police, the suspect has already apologised, but he is still facing a Frustrated Homicide charge.
