The Oppo A53s 5G was officially announced on April 27, 2021. The 5G-ready device measures 164 x 75.7 x 8.4 mm and weighs 189.6 grams.

Oppo A53s 5G comes in a 6.52 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that gives 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The smartphone supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The device is powered by Mediatek MT6833 Dimensity 700 5G (7 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G57 MC2. A53s 5G runs on the Android 11 + ColorOS 11.1 operating system. It is packed with 6GB and 8GB of RAM while the internal storage has 128GB.

Connectivity options on the Oppo A53s 5G include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GALILEO, GLONASS, USB Type-C 2.0, and USB On-The-Go. The phone’s sensors include a compass, proximity, accelerometer, gyro, and fingerprint (side-mounted).

The rear camera consists of a 13-megapixel (wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) while on the front, there is a single 8-megapixel (wide) camera. It is kept on by a 5000 mAh built-in battery + fast charging 10W. The smartphone is available in two colors: Ink Black and Crystal Blue.
